Sheriff’s Department shares video of Palm Springs hiker rescue
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - The Riverside County Sheriff's Office aviation unit shared video of a hiker rescue in Palm Springs over the weekend.
According to the agency, the rescue happened just before 1:00 p.m. on Sunday on the Indian Canyon Trail. A 70-year-old man was unconscious and in need of medical assistance.
Deputies located the man, who was hoisted from the location and transported to an off-site location. The man was then transported to the hospital.
There was no word on the status of the man.
