No arrests made following DA Gang Impact Team investigation in Indio

UPDATE: 12:57 P.M. – According to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office’s Public Information Officer John Hall, the heavy activity was the result of an investigation by the DA office’s Gang Impact Team.

No arrests were made and no incidents occurred at that location.

A heavy police presence was reported on Valencia Avenue near Herbert Hoover Elementary around 6 a.m. on Thursday.

Law enforcement authorities are not revealing what happened, though Indio police have said the Riverside County District Attorneys Office was serving search warrants there.

Palm Springs and Cathedral City police were also involved.
