A man in town on vacation managed to thwart a would-be burglar who had broken into the vacation rental he was staying in with his spouse in Palm Springs.
At 4:45 a.m., a man and woman staying at home on the 100 block of Canyon Rock Road reported that an intruder had broken into their bedroom.
