Two Students Home Safe After Reported Missing

Families have told News Channel 3 that both missing girls have been found safe tonight.

November is National Runaway Prevention Month — aimed at increasing awareness of the issues facing young people who run away from home.

Child safety experts say runaways are vulnerable — and predators know it.

“They may go of their own volition, but then they get themselves into a situation, perhaps with some unsavory characters, and then they don’t know what to do. And then they’re wishing they never ran away,” said Mika Moulton, founder of Christopher’s Clubhouse.
