Bicyclist Killed in Indian Wells

A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday in Indian Wells, a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department official said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene when firefighters arrived at Fred Waring and Eldorado drives at 9:45 p.m., Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.
The victim’s name, age and gender were not available, nor was there information about the vehicle that hit them.
The cause of the crash was under investigation, Hendrickson said.
