4th annual Desert Daze music festival returns this weekend

The Desert Daze music festival returns to the Coachella Valley this May for its fourth consecutive year.

Smaller than neighboring festivals Coachella and Stagecoach, Desert Daze brings together an eclectic group of artists and vendors to a beautiful outdoor setting that will excite any music fan. This year’s lineup boasts headliners such as Minus the Bear, Warpaint, RJD2, Dan Deacon, and DIIV among a swath of other talented musicians.

The one-day, one-night, music and camping event will take place on Saturday May 2nd at Sunset Ranch Oasis in Mecca, CA. All Moon Block events are organized and executed by a growing collective of artists and musicians, including members of JJUUJJUU, Deap Vally, Fever the Ghost and other local musicians and artists.

One day tickets are on sale now for 55 dollars and are available on the festival website. To purchase tickets and for more information head to desertdaze.org

Desert Daze began in 2012 as an 11 day event in Desert Hot Springs, featuring over 100 artists. The festival condensed to a one day event the following year and moved to it’s current location at the Sunset Ranch Oasis in Mecca. The event drew several thousand people in 2014 and is expected to attract more music fans this year.
