Martha’s Village And Kitchen Needs Donations

Martha’s Village and Kitchen is planning summer camp for kids, and they need more donations to make it happen.

They’re asking for: sleeping bags, backpacks, flash lights, reusable water bottles, sun screen and lip balm. You can also donate cash for the supplies.

The organization said so far, it hasn’t received any donations. They say this is the longest they’ve had to wait for donation.

Martha’s Village And Kitchen will buy the supplies if they don’t get enough donations.

Spokeswoman Kathy Medved said that will take away from other events, but she said this is an important event for the children.

They’re accepting donations until the end of July. You can drop off supplies is between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Martha’s Village and Kitchen located at 82-791 Dave Avenue in Indio.
