Drug Raid Hits Home Where Eight Children Lived
Two men were arrested today on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale at a Coachella home where eight young children were living, a sheriff’s sergeant said.
Esperdeon Parra Barnachia, 29, of Coachella and Ronaldo Hernandez Bravo, 28, of Indio were taken into custody around 7:15 a.m. while deputies were serving a search warrant in the 52000 block of Calle Camacho, said Sgt. Michael Tapp of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Eight children, ranging in age from 2 to 9 years old, who were living at the home were released to relatives, Tapp said.
Barnachia and Bravo were booked into the Indio Jail on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and child endangerment, the sergeant said.
