Police Hope Surveillance Photos Help Capture Car Thief
Palm Springs police hope surveillance photos will help them capture a man wanted for taking off in someone else’s car at a Palm Springs gas station.
Witnesses tell police it happened at 7pm on Sunday night. They say the suspect was seen talking to a man who was driving a 1965 Chevrolet Corvair at the Valero station on East Ramon Road. They say the suspect got into the Corvair, and drove away.
He was seen with a few other men at the gas station who were driving a silver Nissan or Datsun pickup truck.
