He says their lawsuit centers around the 12,500 ballots from Moreno Valley that were mailed in, and not picked up from the post office by the Registrar of Voters office.

Three Moreno Valley residents are also named in the lawsuit: Naomi Ingram, Lynn Riegel and Jennifer Christina Riegel. They claim their ballots were mailed in on-time, but were among those not picked up by the elections office.

A hearing is set for Thursday to hear more about the case.

June 8 election results have been the focus of News Channel 3 reports, Riverside County Board of Supervisors meetings, and threats of legal action. Results from the June 8 election were slow to come, some numbers taking one week to be finalized, even though the registrar’s website listed 100-percent of the precincts reporting the day after the election.
