Road closures and traffic information
June 7-8 President Obama will meet with President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China at Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage.
The following is a list of road closures and an area designated for the public’s observation of Sunnylands:
Road Closures:
Bob Hope Drive, between Gerald Ford Drive and Kavenish Drive – Frank Sinatra Drive, between Vista Del Sol and Morningside Drive/Thompson Road The closure of these roadways will begin in the morning hours of June 7, 2013 and may remain inaccessible to the public throughout the weekend.
Kirk Douglas way will close from Friday morning to Monday morning for the President’s visit. Travelers are asked to use Ramon Rd or El Cielo.
