Shooting suspect on the run after opening fire on driver in Cathedral City
Police are looking for a man who opened fire at a vehicle along Interstate 10 in Cathedral City.
Authorities say the shooting happened Saturday at 3:15 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway near Date Palm.
The 24-year old victim is a Palm Springs resident.
Police say he suffered a single gunshot wound and was treated at Desert Regional Medical Center.
Authorities are now looking for the suspect described as a black man driving a white four-door Sedan.
