Man identified in deadly crash on I-10

A deadly crash happened on eastbound I-10 on January, 2, in Palm Desert. A week following the accident, the coroner released the identity of the 24-year-old man who was killed.

Dustin Narz of Indian Wells died after the truck he was driving hit a structure column under the Cook Street overpass around 11:30 a.m. The truck flipped over before catching fire, according to officers with the California Highway Patrol.

Narz somehow lost control of his truck before hitting the structure column.

CHP is investigating the crash.
