Community mourns loss of 3-year old boy to cancer
A 3-year old boy is being remembered after losing his battle with a rare form of cancer.
Adrian Montes De Oca passed away last Friday after a 6-month battle with stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma. He endured months of chemotherapy at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.
This weekend, family and friends will hold 2 fundraisers to help with medical bills and other expenses.
The first one, “For the Love of Adrian,” will be held Friday night at Lamp Post Pizza at 78772 Highway 111 in La Quinta from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m..
The 2nd fundraiser, “A Super Heroes Car Wash,” will be held Saturday at 8:00 a.m. at the KFC at 81769 Highway 111 in Indio.
