Group helps Indio pet owners stay in compliance
A forum aimed at helping low-income Indio residents avoid pet-related citations is scheduled at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Thursday.
Animal Lovers of Coachella Valley said the three-hour forum starting at 6 p.m. in the casino’s Special Events Center is designed to help people comply with county ordinances, such as proof of vaccination, attorney Marla Tauscher
said.
When Indio closed its animal shelter last year, the Riverside County Department of Animal Services took charge of pet issues in the city.
Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Drive.
