Coachella police search for 2 suspects after armed robbery

A restaurant employee confirms there was an armed robbery Wednesday night at Maxcy’s Grill on Grapefruit Boulevard in Coachella. She says two men walked into the restaurant, one of them with a gun, and demanded money.

According to a release from the Coachella Police Department, the two Hispanic suspects robbed the business just before 8 p.m. and fled the scene. Nobody was injured in the heist. The two suspects are still on the run.
