Teen accused of DUI, crashing in Coachella

A Thermal teen is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs before crashing in Coachella around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police say.

The 17-year-old crashed a white Cadillac into a wall near Ave Del Parque and Ave 50, says Sergeant Daniel Porras with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The teen was taken to the hospital and was released to his parents without injury.
