Fundraiser to replace stolen band equipment

Palm Desert High School’s Band and Color Guard are trying to raise money to replace equipment that was stolen earlier this month.

Sunday the band’s booster club held a Root Beer Float fundraiser at several Albertson’s locations.

The group’s truck, used to transport instruments and equipment, was taken November 2nd from the school parking lot.

This surveillance video shows a man walking through different gates and areas of the campus around 2:40 in the morning. Then about an hour and a half later a person is driving the truck off the campus.

Police are still looking for the suspect.

If you would like help the Band and Color Guard, students will be wrapping gifts during the holiday season at within Westfield Shopping Center.
