Paid Internship – News Producer

Gulf-California Broadcast Company (KESQ-TV / CBS Local 2, KDFX-TV and KUNA-TV) offers a paid News Producer internship program. Our company offers real world, hands-onexperience in a television newsroom located in beautiful Palm Springs, California.

This internship program is open to college/university Juniors or Seniors. Graduate students and recently graduated students are also eligible.

Interns MUST be currently enrolled in a program for Journalism, Broadcasting or a related field, available 40 hours per week for 12 weeks (days and hours will vary) and must have excellent communication skills.

The length of the internship is 12 weeks during June, July and August. Start and end date depending your college schedule.

Our focus is on local students from local colleges who plan to live and work in the Palm Springs area. But, this program is open to non-local students from non-local colleges who want to live and work in the Palm Springs area. Preference will be given to students engaged in an accredited internship course, but not mandatory.

We are looking for students who will make the most of this opportunity.

We offer an attractive hourly salary. Interns are not eligible for company medical benefits, holiday pay or sick pay.
