Gelson’s Market coming to Rancho Mirage

Gelson’s Market is coming to Rancho Mirage. It will move into the building that is currently the Haggen supermarket on Bob Hope Drive.

Last month Haggen filed for bankruptcy. Today it struck a deal to sell the store to Gelson’s Market based in Encino.

The other Haggen grocery store in the Valley, the former Von’s on highway 111 in Palm Desert will be closing. So far there are no plans to fill the building in Palm Desert.
