SCE repairs will close portion of Tahquitz Canyon Way all day

Southern California Edison is making repairs along Tahquitz Canyon Way and the work is forcing a closure of the road throughout the entire day Wednesday.

The road will be closed between Palm Canyon Drive and Belardo Road, according to an alert from the Palm Springs Police Department. The closure was announced around noon.

You should avoid the area for the time being and take an alternate route.
