Traffic delays expected for Grapefruit Blvd repaving

The city of Coachella issued a traffic advisory through the end of the week as construction crews repave Grapefruit Boulevard between Avenue 50 and Avenue 54.

“We want people to be especially aware of traffic delays during the morning and late afternoon commutes as a result of this project,” said Jonathan Hoy, city engineer, adding that it may be worthwhile for local residents to use alternate routes.
