PS Pride Weekend kicks off Friday
The Greater Palm Springs Pride celebration will kick off Friday with an event featuring drinks and food samples from local restaurants and bars.
“OUT PSP” is slated to begin at 5 p.m. on the fourth-floor outdoor patio of El Mirador Plaza, 1180 N. Indian Canyon Road. Tickets are $50. Events are also planned Saturday and Sunday, culminating in the weekend Pride Festival and parade in downtown Palm Springs.
Highlights include:
Friday, 8 p.m.: The “Broadway in Drag” show will be staged at the Palm Canyon Theater, 538 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs. General admission is $35 and VIP tickets are $50.
Saturday, 6 p.m.: The Arenas Road Block Party, featuring live music, will be held on Arenas between Indian Canyon Drive and Calle Encilia. Admission is free.
Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.: The Palm Springs Pride Festival will be
held on Palm Canyon Drive, from Amado to Baristo roads and on Arenas Road
between Calle Encilia and Indian Canyon Drive. Admission is free.
Sunday, 10 a.m.: The 29th annual Pride Parade will start at Tachevah
and Palm Canyon drives.
