Valley church to give out 1,000 backpacks to students

Sword of the Lord Ministries Community Church will host its 4th Annual Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway in Thousand Palms. The church plans to give out 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies on August 6 at 10 a.m. First come, first served.

The church is still in need of supplies for children grades K-12.

If you’d like to help, donations can be dropped off at the church at 72055 Corporate Way Corporate Way in Thousand Palms.
