Local man admits to burglarizing homes, gets 13 years in prison
On Monday, a Palm Springs man admitted to burglarizing homes in Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City, a third strike offense, and was immediately sentenced to 13 years in state prison.
Brandon Carlsby Prude, 23, pleaded guilty to several counts of burglary at his scheduled felony settlement conference Monday afternoon in Indio.
In exchange for his plea, charges of identity theft and receiving stolen property were dismissed.
