Possible sexual assault in Rancho Mirage

Police are searching for a suspect after a woman reported being sexually assaulted at a park in Rancho Mirage.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the report of the possible sexual assault happened shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, near Michael F. Wolfson Park on Frank Sinatra Dr. and Da Vall Dr..

Police have the park taped off as they search for the suspect.
