Indio High School on brief lockdown
Indio High School was on a short lockdown early Thursday morning.
Mary Perry of Desert Sands Unified School District says there way a 10 minute lockdown due to nearby police activity. It was lifted at around 8:30.
Indio Police tell us the lockdown was precautionary as police were in the area serving search warrants.
Viewers also called into our newsroom and wrote into us on Facebook telling us about the lockdown.
