Smokey the cat finds a home

“Smokey” the cat has a new home!

Smokey was rescued after a 30-acre brush fire in Mecca by our news crew on the morning of April 13th.

After appearing on the weekly Animal Samaritans Segment on Wednesday’s News Channel Three at Noon, one of our own employees decided to adopt him!

Reporter Jeremy Chen and photographer Christopher Flicker said the cat had burn marks on its ears and paw, and it was limping when they found it.

They brought the cat to Animal Samaritans where it’s got medical treatment.
