Man who died in Desert Center motorcycle crash identified

UPDATE: 10:15 p.m.

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified 49-year-old Michael Horns, of Las Vegas, as the person killed in a crash involving a motorcycle near Desert Center Saturday morning.

According to Riverside County Fire crews, the crash was reported at 10:24 a.m. on Highway 177 at mile post 12. Horns died at the scene. No other details surrounding the crash have been released.
