Impressive performance for PDHS Sophomore Wales at Pebble Beach

Caroline Wales was selected by the First Tee to compete with a PGA player this week in the Pure Insurance Championship in Pebble Beach.

Wales is a sophomore at Palm Desert High School and along with her partner Stephen Ames (2006 Players Championship winner) the pair finished tied for first but fell to second in a scorecard tiebreaker.

In the Sunday final round Wales had three birdies and an eagle.
