SCE customers without power in Palm Desert
Update: 1:32 a.m. Tuesday: Edison says only one customer remains without service, with no estimated restoration time. 82 customers in Rancho Mirage also have no service. That outage should be restored by 7:00 a.m.

Update: The outage is now affecting fewer customers. According to the most recent SCE update (11:09 a.m.), 542 customers are now being affected by the maintenance outage.

1167 Southern California Edison customers in Palm Desert are without power due to an equipment upgrade, according to the SCE outage map.
The outage, which is labeled as a ‘Maintenance Outage’, was last updated at 9:05 a.m., stating that a crew was actively at work at that time. There is no estimate restoration timeline.
The approximate location of the outage is in the Cahuilla Hills area on Palm Desert,
A second major maintenance outage has also been reported in Palm Springs, with 152 customers affected. The estimated time for restoration for that outage is 4 PM today.
