Local businesses & residents get opportunity to meet at “Taste of Palm Springs”

Thousands participated in Palm Springs’ Chamber of Commerce “Taste of Palm Springs” event tonight.

The event featured over 30 local food vendors. Over 100 local businesses also had a chance to showcase their products and services. The idea behind the event is to give the community an opportunity to meet a lot of the local business owners in person. The proceeds from tonight will go to the Chamber of Commerce.

“You have a chance to really try a few things that maybe you wouldn’t have. Expand your pallet a little bit. And meet the people that are part of those restaurants,” said Jenny McLean, President of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce.

Don’t miss next week’s 26th annual News Channel 3, Desert Sampler at the River in Rancho Mirage. $10 tickets will be sold at participating schools and our station will be selling tickets at the event. 100-percent of the proceeds will go to our local schools.
