Man shot, killed in Palm Springs

Palm Springs Police are seeking witnesses with any information after a 25-year-old man was shot and killed in the city late Sunday night.

Just before midnight, Palm Springs Police officers were called to the 300 block of Bon Air Drive in the area of Desert Highland Gateway Estates, north of Racquet Club West. for a report of gunshots. According to police, when officers arrived in the neighborhood, they found the victim dead.

The man who was killed has not been identified, but police did confirm he lived in Palm Springs.

In a statement, officials said “The investigation is still in its early stages and information has been minimal. Investigators are looking to contact witnesses who saw what happened last night or who have information that could further the investigation.”

Investigators are looking for anyone with information to contact detectives at 760-778-8411.
