N Indian Canyon Drive will close at the wash for 12 hours starting at midnight on Jan. 16

N Indian Canyon Drive will be shut down at the Whitewater Wash for 12 hours starting at midnight this week, city officials announced.

N. Indian Canyon Drive from Sunrise Parkway to Garnet will be closed from midnight on Thursday, Jan. 16 until Noon.

The closure was originally scheduled to go from Tuesday night to Noon Wednesday, however, the city announced a change Tuesday morning.

"The closure is necessary to complete one of the phases of the Indian Canyon Bridge Project," Palm Springs officials said.
