IID issues conserve alert to take stress off the energy grid
Imperial Irrigation District issued a Conserve Alert to give relief to the energy grid during the triple-digit temps.
The alert will run through Monda July 3. IID said by conserving energy, you help maintain reliable energy delivery service and help avoid power outages.
The utility company encourages you to conserve energy from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
