Slowly warming up through the week

Palm Springs on Saturday reached a high temperature right at seasonal average at 97°. Today, the average is 98°. Temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer for the afternoon.

As we continue through the week, there is an area of low pressure with much uncertainty where it will travel, based on each weather model. The general trend still remains, temperatures will see a slow warming trend through the week ahead. What we will see is increase in southerly flow in higher elevations, allowing for more cloud cover to stick around.

Wind are not expected to be as strong today but we will still be breezy for the evening. Lighter winds are expected for the majority of the day.

Warming continues into the week ahead. Cloud cover will stick around through Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week. Still, temperatures are going to remain below where we reached last week. By the next weekend, temperatures will return to the upper 90s.

They made it! SpaceX and NASA have reached the international space station. They docked at 7:16 a.m. PT. It took them under 19 hours to get there.
