A dry and mild Sunday ahead of a mild but warm week

It remains dangerously dry throughout Southern California today. Dew points across the valley are predominantly in the teens, with relative humidity values not far behind. Take caution as these are highly favorable conditions for fires.

While it still remains quite dry at the surface, it is a different story higher up in the atmosphere. Upper-level clouds could be seen moving in earlier this evening and will continue to do so overnight.

This next week will be very comfortable as temperatures will be fairly stable in the mid to low 70s. This is above average for this time of year but is certainly not uncomfortable by any means. Winds will shift back to an onshore pattern overnight tonight and tomorrow before likely returning to an offshore pattern on Wednesday.
