The start of a very comfortable week in the Coachella Valley

A trough of low pressure is moving through the northern tier of the country. The southern extent of this system is reaching down into California. This is why our wind pattern has shifted back to onshore today.

While we are currently experiencing some onshore flow, it is fairly weak and our moisture levels still remain dangerously dry. We can expect a very slow moisture recovery as conditions remain quite dry for the foreseeable future.

The forecast is fairly stable this week with very comfortable temperatures in the mid 70s. Overnight lows will warm very subtly through the week as well. Some more clouds look to funnel into the valley as we approach the weekend.
