Two puppies found inside trash container in Thousand Palms

Two puppies were found inside a trash container at Desert Recycling in Thousand Palms, according to Riverside County Animal Services.

RCAS officials said the puppies were found extremely dehydrated and malnourished. Officials believe the puppies were deliberately trashed.

The puppies have since been fed and given water. Officials say one puppy is doing better than the other, but they hope they can get both to fully recover.
