Venus Williams out in first round of BNP Paribas Open

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. (KESQ) - Venus Williams was bounced out of the first round of women's singles at the BNP Paribas Open on Thursday.

Williams lost to France's Diane Parry.

The 45-year-old tennis legend was awarded a wild card for the tournament for singles and doubles. Her name was not on the draw on the BNP Paribas Open website.
