An upper level ridge of high pressure begins to build today from the west. This will bring in warmer and drier conditions to Southern California. These conditions will last through the week.

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70s today and back in the 80s by Monday.

There will be areas of gusty winds today, increasing winds Monday through Friday. The strongest winds will be Tuesday through Wednesday. Areas mostly impacted seeing offshore wind gusts to 40 mph will be through passes and canyons.

The trend continues for many days in the 80s for next week. Pleasant and above average.
