Cal Fire crews are working to rescue a hiker who experienced a medical emergency while on the Bump and Grind trail in Rancho Mirage Monday evening. Two motorists throwing water bottles at each other’s vehicles caused a six-vehicle crash today on Interstate 10 near Palm Desert, authorities said.
