Palm Springs Tramway reopens following technical issues on Friday

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway reopened on Sunday morning following technical issues on Friday night.

In a statement, Tramway officials say the attraction is operating on its normal schedule. The first car up was at 8:00 a.m., the last car up will be at 8:00 p.m. and the last car down will be at 9:30 p.m..

Officials add they look forward to welcoming guests back to the Tramway.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is closed. An alert was released by Tramway officials Saturday morning.

The statement read "please be advised that the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is currently closed due to technical issues." "The Tramway suspended operations at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2 when the issue was discovered."
