Another mild winter day here in the Valley

Highs will span the middle 70s today, slightly cooler than yesterday but warmer than normal by 5 degrees.

Some cooling continues into the weekend as a weak area of low pressure spins through Northern Baja. That low pressure system also brings the small threat of coast and mountain showers to the region. The deserts will remain dry with partly cloudy skies.

Spotty showers at the coast and in the mountains may reach up to 0.50" of rain, but showers are not expected in the Coachella Valley.

Temps will hover near seasonal norms (71) through the weekend, then rebound back to the middle 70s by midweek next week.
