Mild start to the weekend before gradual warming trend begins

Mild conditions are expected to continue this weekend as moisture remains in the atmosphere. This moisture has sent dewpoints up into the 50s and 60s this morning, meaning we are feeling the humidity. Evaporative and swamp cooler will not be as effective today due to the high humidity.

Here's a look at dewpoints around 8:15 this morning:

Dewpoints will sink into the 40s by Sunday as a gradual drying trend begins.

In the meantime, moisture is keeping temperatures cooler-than-normal this weekend which is great news for those attending Splash House! Temperatures will rise into the low 100s this afternoon with a daytime of 104°. Perfect for poolside fun!

Enjoy these milder conditions for now as a warming trend is on the way. Temperatures will gradually rise above-average once again next week. The hottest days look to be next Wednesday and Thursday as high temperatures reach near 114°.
