WASHINGTON (AP) — On his first full day as speaker, Rep. Mike Johnson is heading to the White House to discuss President Joe Biden’s request for more aid Israel and Ukraine. Earlier, the Lousiana congressman said prayer was a proper response from the House to the Maine shootings. Biden is pushing for nearly $106 billion more in foreign aid. And Republicans want to resume their impeachment inquiry into Biden.
