A breezy start to Saturday morning will quickly transition to a focus on areas west of the Coachella Valley.
The offshore wind will keep humidity low through the weekend. Temperatures will warm near 80° early next week before a weather pattern change gets everyone's attention.
The start of February looks to bring a significant change to Southern California's weather. The precipitation outlook indicates a wetter-than-average start to the month. It's too early to discuss amounts, but widespread rainfall is expected. The First Alert Weather Team is watching next week's atmospheric river carefully.
