Video from Indio neighborhood where man was shot shows people running from scene

News Channel 3 has obtained surveillance footage showing a group of three people running from the scene of a shooting in Indio Tuesday night.

The shooting occurred in the area of Clinton Street and Riverlane Drive, located between Indio Boulevard and Fred Waring Drive. One man was hospitalized with gunshot wounds. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

The incident was reported around 9:38 p.m., according to Ben Guitron, public information officer for Indio Police. The video was recorded during this timeframe, according to the neighbor whose camera captured the clip.

Neighbors say they heard dozens of gunshots ring out. There are multiple markers on the ground next to shell casings.

Guitron said bullets went into a garage, striking a male inside.
