DEL winter sports season wraps up with champions crowned

The Desert Empire League season for winter sports came to a close on Wednesday with league champions decided.

Below is a breakdown of the team champions in their respective sport.

BOYS BASKETBALL: Tie between Palm Springs (9-1), Shadow Hills (9-1)

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Xavier Prep (10-0). Lady Saints complete historic and perfect league season.

BOYS SOCCER: Rancho Mirage (7-3), Palm Springs (6-2-2).

GIRLS SOCCER: Tie between Palm Desert (8-2), La Quinta (8-2).
