New small business development center launches in Palm Springs with focus on Spanish-speakers

The Caravan SDBC, hosted by the Caravanserai Project in Palm Springs, celebrated the opening of its new business center on E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein, Mike Daniel - OCIE SBDC Network Director, Chris Earl - Assistant Deputy Director, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Southern California Regional Advisor, Carolina Rosas Saavedra - Caravan SBDC Director, and several local small business entrepreneurs.

As part of the Orange County Inland Empire SBDC network, the new center was developed for aspiring and mission-driven small business entrepreneurs with a focus on Spanish-speaking clients interested in starting a business.

The core of the mission of the Caravanserai Project lies in its dedication to bridge the gap between resources and the entrepreneurial spirit while providing clients invaluable guidance, training, skills, and access to capital that is imperative for success in today’s competitive business landscape.
